Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread

I absolutely love banana bread from the smell of it baking in the oven to the taste of a nice warm slice with butter. I love banana bread so much that I would eat it every day if I could. I know life is super busy so baking a fresh loaf of banana bread every day isn't in the books, so in between baking sessions I burn my banana nut bread candle. Ingredients:
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

2)In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in vanilla and banana. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

3)Blend the banana mixture into the flour mixture; stir just to combine. Fold in walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.

4)Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.

Black Raspberry Vanilla Pie Recipe


Ingredients
Any store-bought Pie Crust should do just fine. It should come with 2 crusts (one for bottom and one for top)
6 cups of Black Raspberries, rinsed...
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Brown Sugar, plus a little extra to sprinkle on top of pie
⅓ cup Granulated Sugar
¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Butter
1 Egg White
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425º F (219º C).
Place bottom pie crust on greased 9-inch pie dish.
Mix berries, brown sugar, regular sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in large large mixing bowl.
Pour filling onto the pie crust.
Break up little pieces of butter and place on top of filling.
Top with pie crust. Fold edges back and below bottom crust so that the filling doesn’t pour out during the baking process.
Make two small cuts to form an "X" right in the middle of the top crust to let steam out during the baking process.
Mix the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water and brush on to the top of the pie.
Sprinkle a little brown sugar over the pie and put it in the oven for 35 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice-cream if you like.


Peach Bellini Recipe


Did you know a Bellini is a famous cocktail that was invented at Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1934? A Bellini combines peach puree with sparkling white wine to create a refreshing cocktail. I'm gonna share this Peach Bellini recipe with you. In this non-alcoholic version the sparkling wine is replaced with sparkling grape juice.

Ingredients:
1 litre pure, unsweetened peach juice
750ml sparkling white grape juice...
50g grapes OR 1 peach OR 213g can peach slices in juice
Ice cubes


Instructions:
Chill the peach juice and the sparkling white grape juice.
Pour the peach juice into a jug.
Add the sparkling grape juice and stir.
Cut the peach into 1cm thick slices.
Pour into glasses decorated with grapes, peach slices and swizzle sticks.
Add some ice cubes and serve immediately.
